Your new team

This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the exciting and innovative Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. The Retail Designer work across all global brands to develop “best in class” promotional & permanent merchandising global guidelines

Retail Design – Global Implementation

Responsibility 1: Creation of Global Activation Retail Merchandising Guidelines

Responsibility 2: Creation of Exceptional Project design direction – in alignment with FY forecast.

Responsibility 3: Project Management and Global Implementational direction support to regional design & Project Managers

Creative approach to design solutions

Ability to develop impactful & engaging retail space & experiences with full understanding of retail environment scope, Airport restrictions and consideration of budgets & timelines.

  • High attention towards design aesthetics & looks and feel creation
  • Ability to elevate brand expression into physical environments through storytelling
  • Understanding of retail design fundamentals and strategy
  • Strong knowledge of Consumer considerations at Retail
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materiality

Project management

Ability to plan and organize multiple projects at any given time, achieving objectives in time

  • Manage a project: resources and planning monitoring, cost and risks evaluation
  • Foster collaboration, coordinate and motivate project team members, to maximize the team performance
  • Engage stakeholders around the project and get their buy-in: communication and promotion of the project within organizational culture

Experience Activations

Ability to implement the different actions of the touchpoint plan, traditional and digital, in order to create memorable experiences, generate preference for our brands and advocacy

  • Manage the activations and experiences, including promotional activities, campaigns, concepts, assets, creative and content proposals – incl. multi-media campaigns, social media – for each touchpoint, to maximize propagation of word of mouth, trial and sales
  • Evaluate and monitor progressively the performance of the activations and experiences, and adjust actions accordingly

Design & Technical Production Knowledge

  • Understanding of design process – with strong ability in developing guidelines. Focusing on delivering impact in store within business constraints of timelines, budgets and environmental restrictions.
  • Strong Technical production knowledge to support tendering/negotiations and budgeting of live projects and annual forecasting.
